Well, at least in Japan and trying it out on a few titles according to an article at IGN. That’s the thing that really got me with the Wii. Most of the WiiWare games are shovelware. And without demos to try out the games, it leaves a lot of missed opportunities to get the few good ones that are on it. If there’s one thing the Xbox 360 has done right, it’s offering trials of EVERYTHING in the Live Arcade and Indie Games.
The Nintendo Wii is FINALLY starting to cool off. The price drop didn’t make as much of a difference as they were hoping. So they’re “considering” this (which … they should have done it from the start). I hope they just provide demos for everything. There’s a reason why the only thing I’ve bought from Nintendo in regards to downloads is that terrible web browser. No demo. No buy. Especially on WiiWare.
