How to Activate & Use Your Free Prime Gaming Subscription

“Twitch Prime” is now called Prime Gaming.   Follow these steps to link your accounts and use your free monthly subscription.

Phase 1: Link Your Amazon & Twitch Accounts

(You only need to do this once)

1. Go to gaming.amazon.com.

2. Sign in with your Amazon Prime account.

3. Look for the menu on the left or click your profile name in the top-right corner.

4. Select “Link Twitch Account” (or “Manage Twitch Accounts”).

5. Log in to your Twitch account when prompted and click Confirm to link them.

Phase 2: Use Your Free Sub on a Channel

(You must do this manually every month)

1. Go to Twitch.tv on a computer/web browser or use your favorite app (Android, iOS, Roku, etc.)

2. Navigate to GeekGamerTV

3. Click the purple Subscribe button (or “Resubscribe”).

4. In the pop-up window, scroll down or look for a checkbox/tab that says “Use Prime Sub” (sometimes labeled “Subscribe with Prime”).

   Note: It is sometimes hidden under a tab called “Elevate Your Subscription”.

5. Click the “Subscribe with Prime” button.

Important Notes

• No Auto-Renew: Unlike paid subscriptions, the Prime sub does not renew automatically.⁷ You have to manually go to the channel and click the button again every month.

• Mobile limitation: It is easiest to do this on a desktop browser. If you are on a phone, use your web browser (Safari/Chrome) and request the “Desktop Site” version of Twitch, as the Twitch App often does not show the free Prime button.
