Pinball : The classic that shall never die.

sany0018

Pinball was around long before Pac-Man … and some people saw a Pac-Man machine and thought “What the hell? This thing is taking up the space of two great pinballs!” but it lived on for YEARS even to this day.

Playing a pinball machine and getting into it is like no other experience that a video game can provide. Playing a pinball table well is an experience in the end. And takes a hell of a lot of practice to get the full experience. Which for a lot of gamers nowadays, isn’t worth the hassle. Pinball tables, when they are well done, are a work of art. Period. There’s no two ways around it. Look at Terminator 2 or Haunted House and tell me you wouldn’t wanna play that. And no, unfortunately, those links don’t do them justice. You have to experience them.

Recently, a GREAT pinball show made it’s way to my area for it’s 5th annual run. The Heartland Pinball and Arcade Supershow. Which I brought my 8 year old daughter and she had a BLAST. Here are some pictures I took of the small but meaningful event. And, yes, there would be more pictures, but I am physically unable to take good pictures. What you see is the usable part of 20+ pictures after the jump. Including one of my daughter playing one. 🙂
