Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Over the past weekend, the pals here at Geek Gamer Weekly had the chance and opportunity to play a neat game called Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator.    To break it down for you the game allows you (as Captain) and up to six machines to network together and play as if you are a Bridge Crew on a Spaceship!

From the website: Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the “main screen”, while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Engineering, and Weapon Control.

Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (“bridge”) , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn’t have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.

Artemis runs on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Below is a video of our journey….it’s a little long, but it does show the passion and the coolness that a game like this can bring to a group of friends. 🙂  Enjoy!
