Jimmy Gibbs … in the game. You know, the one who owns that bad ass car you’ve gotta fill up with gas. Well, he’s in the game … sort of.
In the PC version of the game you type the following into the console :
map atrium
sv_cheats 1
z_forcezombiemodelname common_male_jimmy
z_forcezombiemodel 1
And he’ll show up.
As an infected.
And apparently the characters have all new one liners and stuff to go with it. Obviously I haven’t tried this yet because I didn’t get my check in the mail (I hate holidays).
Why it isn’t in the game outside of this? I have no idea. But this is making me want the PC version even more. With any luck I’ll have it by this weekend.
I already have it for the 360 … time to finish the collection. And while I’m at it I’m gonna be downloading a boatload of new campaigns for the first Left 4 Dead from L4DMaps. Unfortunately for us 360 gamers, we can’t get these. Just like we had to shell out 560 Microsoft space bucks for the Crash Course campaign. Not that I’m arguing because it was worth every penny. But still, thanks to that site the original Left 4 Dead is going to last me a long LONG time. Just because part 2 is out and it completely blows the first one away doing EVERYTHING better doesn’t mean it’s a bad game and not worth playing. And with all that free content, there’s no excuse.
Soon … soon I shall be killing zombies on a platform that was practically MADE for games like this. Soon I shall hear the rev of that chainsaw and splatter zombie brains all over the place in glorious high resolution graphics because the TV I have my 360 is an old 480p monster made a LITTLE better by component hookups. Plus … when I look down … I’ll actually be able to see my feet.
In the meantime I’ve gotta decide what melee weapon I wanna kill Jimmy with. I think a machete is in order.
Oh, and for those of you who have the PC version of Left 4 Dead (why wouldn’t you?) go and download this campaign … it’s called Death Abroad and it ROCKS. Thank you and good night.
