Picks of the Week for GGW: #177

Hello Everyone!

A new feature of Geek Gamer Weekly is our “Picks of the Week” – The picks are revealed during our show and will be cut out and added to this site on a weekly basis!  This is VIDEO ONLY feature and will not be posted to iTunes.  Only to our YouTube channel and on here.  If you have any questions, please let me know!  Here we go!

Giancarlo’s Pick – iRacing.com

iRacing is the ultimate place to go racing online. From NASCAR, to IndyCar, to sports cars and Grand Prix racing, iRacing has it all. All you need is a PC, a gaming wheel or game pad and an Internet connection. iRacing organizes all of the racing for you, or you can choose to host your own race. Either way the competition is as real as it gets – you’ll be racing against motorsports fans who share your passion for racing.

Jon’s Pick – Logitech Revue (Google TV)

Supercharged with Google TV, the Revue grabs content via the web, cable, or apps and aggregates it all in a slick menu system. Search for Daily Show and you get everything from 15-second YouTube clips to full episodes on Comedy Central. You can even record directly to your DVR. It can multitask, too: Need to settle a debate on whether Shaq was ever on Curb Your Enthusiasm? Check IMDB without interruptingSportsCenter. This isn’t a novelty act; it’s the future of TV.

Joe’s Pick – Whitehouse Petitions

From CNN:

The White House may have opened Pandora’s box on Thursday when it announced it would respond to any petition that over 30 days garners at least 5,000 signatures and is submitted through the upcoming White House website “We the People.”

Though the White House said the project is a way for the White House to connect with “individuals,” a number of advocacy groups have told CNN they plan to use the website to lobby the White House on issues of all kinds.

Chase’s Pick – RealFlight

In just over a decade, constant refinements have made RealFlight the world’s most advanced and popular flight simulator as well as the most effective R/C flight training tool available. Now, you can experience its famous “at-field” accuracy in DeadRinger™ and Hardcore Combat — two new multiplayer combat events that push the envelopes of sim science and pilot skill farther out than ever before!
