For those of us who didn’t waste our hard earned money on the cripple called Modern Warfare 2, we’ve had to wait for this one. This is the game that started it all folks (ironically enough, originally a PC game, later released on the Mac. Who woulda figured).
And now you console kids can see what your game was like in 2003.
Yeah yeah … it’s yet ANOTHER World War 2 shooter … with a great plot. You’re a guy. With a gun. In World War 2. WOW!!!!! But at least this is the one all those other WW2 games copied and not a new one. Except for Battlefield 1942 which to my understanding came out first. But you get the idea.
Regardless of any of that, it’s due out the 3rd of December for 1200 MS Points, and probably 15 bucks on PSN. Or you can just pick up the PC version for next to nothing just about anywhere like Amazon and play it for real.
I might even pick this one up though, just to go back in time a little bit. Because I quite honestly never played this when it was released. I was still playing Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 Arena because they’re fast and fun.
